Gay Life Assurance is taken out by Gay and Lesbian people to protect themselves in the event of death. Types of Gay Life Assurance taken out by gays and lesbians in the past include Level Term Assurance, Whole of Life, Mortgage Protection and Decreasing Term Assurance.

The UK Life Assurance Industry has not been very friendly towards Gay & Lesbian people in the past. Gay and Lesbian people have been asked for unecessary HIV testing and inflated premiums. If you are gay and find yourself in doubt when taking out Life Assurance, then seek advice.
