Gay Insurance is taken out by Gay and Lesbian people to protect both themselves and their possessions. Types of Gay Insurance taken out by gays and lesbians in the past include Accident and Sickness Cover, Unemployment Cover, Level Term Assurance, Whole of Life, Mortgage Protection and Decreasing Term Assurance.

The UK  Insurance Industry has not been very friendly towards Gay & Lesbian people in the past. Gay and Lesbian people have been asked for unecessary HIV testing and inflated premiums. If you are gay and find yourself in doubt when taking out Insurance products, then seek advice.
