The new online publication will once again be edited by Chris Morgan and be focused on improving the financial landscape for the gay community.<\/p>\n<p>Pink Finance was originally introduced in 2000, as a response to the blatant discrimination faced by the gay community from the financial services industry. They have now decided to celebrate its anniversary by evolving it into a new format with new focus.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Morgan, Marketing Manager of Compass and Editor of Pink Finance Said,<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>Pink Finance was the UK\u2019s first gay finance magazine of its type and has enjoyed considerable success campaigning over the years. We are very proud of our track record of representing the gay community within the financial services Industry\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u2018We are particularly proud of our work with the Association of British Insurers, which led to the removal of the \u2018Gay Question\u2019 from life assurance applications. There are literally thousands of people who have been forced to answer this intrusive question in the past\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Chris Continued \u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>Even though the Association of British Insurers Guidelines changed in 2005, we are still being approached by people who signed gay lifestyle questionnaires in the past and are now unsure how they will be treated in the future by insurance companies\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u2018Pink Finance was also part of the expert working group that led to the introduction of Life Assurance for HIV Positive people. We are currently campaigning for cheaper and fairer premiums for HIV Positive people taking out Life Assurance\u2019. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The new re-launched Pink Finance is keen to hear from anyone who feels they have been treated unfairly by the financial services industry due to their sexuality, health status, marital status, employment status or credit history.<\/p>\n<p>Over the coming months we will feature all of the latest news, feature and case studies.
